In the original piece of software the center of the object was at 0,0,0. so I changed the settings in ZBrush 3.5 R2 "Export" to what I thought they ought to be...WRONG! This changed the model's world location, and scale when the modified model was imported back into the original software. While this is a nice feature, it has created a problem that I can not seem to reverse w/o having written down the original settings before altering them. (No restore default?)

How do I get the original (default?) scaling and world offset settings back in the "Export" function so that it functions like 3.1?

    Thanks!
    Hello

    Try this.

    1. Export the top level of your mesh as an obj
    2. Import the original obj from the other app
    3. Import the high rez obj on top of the obj from step 1
    4. Do not remap
    5. Then Rebuild Subdiv Levels and export

That should change the offset back.

A BIG THANKS for the fixes, the topological mask not visible was reaaaaally boring .... of course some things look still strange (like the Alt+move thing), but in the end i think it's only a matter of getting used to a different approach (like the brush mod not working anymore for most brushes, almost replaced by the imbed value...)

Is anyone else having trouble getting the latest release from cleverbridge
this morning? Clicking on the link in my confirmation email just results
in a blank page with the loading symbol merrily spinning, but alas, no download?

would be nice to see transparency work on zSpheres, allowing you to pick those hard-to-get joints...

    Default Standard Brush Bug??

Is anyone having problems with the standard brush stroke? or at least notice the difference between 3.1 and 3.5 in freehand mode? For me there seems to be no difference between Dotted and Freehand mode, and all the my strokes are very dotted unless I go really slow. I'm curious to know if it's just the machines at my work or if it's a bug. This is our main brush at work, so we're kind of sad that we have to stay with 3.1. I played with the stroke average, tablet settings, modifiers, etc, but nothing works.

how can I assign flatten or another brush to the shift key? In Zbrush 3.1 I just hold shift and click on the flatten brush which assigns the flattenbrush to the shift key.

Just be aware, it looks identical to the first zip you downloaded but if you open it up you will see that it's the R2 version. Why they didn't rename the zip to reflect the newer content within I don't know. I'm sure there is a reason.....
