Presently am doing some practice on skin shader for the first time. This is with color map only.Rendered in mental ray with final gather, trying to bring more organic feel in her face.Eyes are just a rough map i have created in zbrush,so i have to work on eyes. Some suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    skin is excellent, well rendered.
sorry, no advice, im still stuck with basic shaders... you amaze me.
looks real, i dont know if getting it more real than what it is now is even possible!!!
When I do sss I usually do it without a texture and just use a pore map, I get ok results like that, but this is something else, the reddish areas really bring it to life, and the lips are perfect! (i usually have a little trouble with lips)
Eyes are just textured spheres (actually there is a little protrusion where the iris is), I guess getting the specular in the pupil is the toughest part. But im sure you know all this already... shutup der head...

definitely got the organic feel... has a little "volume" to it.

I just reread the post... this isnt even with sss activated?!?!? thats even more amazing.
