Spaceboy 412, rofl!!! Good one
Have been at the arse-end of software dev; sometimes all the components work on their own but when you try to cram everything back in the box...
...oh well, time for some more sculpts

The New Zspheres feature is really cool, but I was wondering if you can use that to build geometry over an obj file or another ztool.
I think I know, but the reality is that I don't know for sure.
Anyway just curious, now I'm back to work.
that would be cool, thats what I hope as well, a controlable/controled blob brush, or zsphere brush, either that or extra stability was added to zspheres to make them a little more predicatable.Originally Posted by InkySpot
still I would rather make my wire thin armatures in a 3d app for scale and game pipe specific practical issues. the blob zphere brush would then let me work on that from there, adding appendages with easy and so forth.
So where is it??
My index finger is numb from pressing the refresh button too many times
Man, I'm thinking not but now that you've said it I really hope this is possible.Originally Posted by InkySpot
You sorta can now, I often build armor pieces and such using the retopo method (binding a zsphere to a mesh and go from there) instead or in addition to mesh extract. But it would be nice to be able to use a mesh as armature or something.Originally Posted by Wyatt

If that's not directly possible, a workaround could be to make a proxy model in another app before importing to zbrush, then simply build the armature zspheres as a subtool. Should sort it out nicely.![]()
it would be nice if we could be given a cookie with the release. apology cookies remove all anger about a late release.Originally Posted by Black-Flames

i just feel compelled to add something to this crazy thread.
i think everything has been said. release dates are posted, none ever held. this is absolutely normal in the software business (and in most other businesses as well) unless the advertised merchandise is already finished and wrapped for delivery. (btw THAT is cheating the customer in my eyes)
and one thing that is becoming more and more apparent in this thread is this:
the professionals do NOT complain and even keep supporting and defending a company that has given and is still giving us one of the most impressive and innovative piece of software i have ever come across (and i have been around since sinclairs zx81) while the kids and possibly otherwise mentally or emotionaly retarded use a forum that allows them to learn and communicate and enjoy wonderful pieces of art to whine and scream and even abuse and offend or just act plain silly (which is the least annoying).
i wish pixologic would just say another date to annoy the hell out of all those who arent mature enough to sit on their hands for a couple of days.
while we're at it i will just have another bowl of mousse au chocolat and practice my modelling skills a little more.
would you please subdivide me?
A user's guide and/or some vids on the other new brushes (ex. hard surface) would be nice to tide us over as well.![]()
Ask and you shall recieve...
