    Default Andrew's WIP Thread

It's been a long time since I uploaded anything here that I actually started, completed, and felt was worthy of displaying here. I guess I'll start dumping my personal work in this thread from time to time.

I'm rather preoccupied with the video game that I'm working on and the game company my friends and I are trying to put together, so you may see game models in here some time in the future if we're all lucky.

With that being said, here is my most recent work, which I'm calling "Green Eyed Monster."

It's sculpted in ZBrush obviously. I used an old base head I made in Maya. I retopologized the mesh and exported displacement, normal, & cavity maps for rendering in Maya / Mental Ray. Did an AO pass and composited it all in Photoshop using overlaid textures for the skin color.

When you start to think of what everything around you would look like in wireframe, does that mean you have problems?

Been lazy for too long. Thought I'd post something. It's fun to sculpt fat.

My failed Halloween contest entry over at Renderosity. The theme was urban legends. This is my darker interpretation of the Great Pumpkin from the Peanuts cartoon.

Sculpted the head from a sphere. The body is made from ZSpheres. Retopped the whole thing in 3D Coat. Rendered out passes with different materials and comped it in PS for the final image.

Another WIP. Took the ZBrush dog model, crossed it with a Predator and ran with it.

Even though this is got some ways to go and is loosely based on a dog, I could use some tips on dog anatomy / muscles if anyone is willing to help. The shoulders and legs are giving me a hard time.

Predadog, pretty funny and cool. Keep plugging away at this one.

I see my wife in wireframe all the time. You're ok.
