You nailed down Jabba pretty well, looks way better than that crappy ILM CGI Jabba in the remake of New Hope.
That was such a disappointment after the cool life size Jabba in Episode 6. I love that dragon creature too.
    Good work pal.

    Default Free zTool...

So the Smithsonian is publishing 3D scans of some of the items in their collection for free non-commercial use. I downloaded the mammoth skeleton yesterday. Of course their version is non-symmetrical as it is based on the actual object. I wanted to play with an anatomy study of the animal and so I started by creating a symmetrical, polygrouped version of their scan. I thought others might enjoy using it so I am attaching a link to the file for your use. I'm using a dropbox link...i hope it works:

    Very cool!

Do you have a link to the original scans available?

Very cool crab! Is this a particular species? Robber crab maybe?

I based most of this crab's features on the giant coconut crab.

    Default Storm Trooper

In celebration of the release of the Star Wars Battlefront trailer I thought I would try one of my favorite characters. I used the new zModeler tools for most of this work. Still some clean-up to be done and the sculpting of the blaster.

    Default Bronze study

I am hoping to be able to use zBrush to produce bronze pieces. This is a quick study in hopes of actually casting it someday....

    Default Hard surface practice

Hard surface practice (missile launching console concept) using Fusion 360 for basis forms, Photoshop for the display text, Zbrush Live Booleans to add some love, and then some quick rendering in Keyshot.

    Default Han Solo in Carbonite

Just completed my first piece started in ZBrush and then 3D printed/hand sculpted to finished sculpture. It was so much fun. I used a cheap DaVinci 3D printer ($200 on clearance at Sam's Club). Wish I could afford the Formlabs printer someday...
