The Assassin's Creed 2 intro was a team effort, so it doesn't really matter who wrote the answers, everyone deserves credit for their contributions
Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

I remember watching the warhammer cinematic a while ago, when I saw this intro I thought these guys are even better than the guys at the studio that did warhammer! I didn't know that was possible...
Didn't know they're both coming from you!
If I can't work as a CG artist at your studio I'm also honoured if I could bring around coffee![]()
Cool interview, that trailer is amazing. i'm one the character modeler on the AC2 game , and I've been blown away through all the work in progress versions up to the Final released one. Congratulation guys you did an awesome job to support the game!

Very Nice
Hope the second game's a lot better than the first.
As far as I know most of the camera work was done by the director, István Zorkóczy.Originally Posted by capu

(Again, as far as I know, so I might have to correct this later...)

Being an amateur Zbrush artist, & a gamer that somehow missed the original Assassin's Creed I have to say that Ubisoft owes Pixologic & Digic a big thank you. I went out & reserved a copy of AC2 & picked up the original Assassin's Creed only after I'd seen the awesome trailer that Digic did for AC2. To anyone who hasn't seen it yet, WATCH IT! WATCH IT NOW! It truly awesome. As I said I hadn't even played the 1st game but the trailer was so cool I had to get AC 1, & reserve AC 2. Digic did it for me as a consumer & an artist. Really love this interview, VERY detailed. Gotta love this company too! Digic does great work & now we know why, because they put the artistry before everything else. If only every company in the game & CG film industries did that. I could name a bunch of big film studios & game developers who need to look out for up & coming companies like Digic. Kudos to Ubisoft for hiring the exceptional team at Digic to do the AC 2 trailer.
That part really got me too. I was like, 'wait a sec, there's companies who give a crap about their artists in this industry? And I thought I'd have to know EVERY program out there to ever get a job.'Originally Posted by 3mm
