Yeah your scatter depth is a tad too high, that's why you're getting red in the shoulder.

See attached. I found a great front shot of her face. She definitely has an asymmetrical face. The left half of her mouth is a tad longer than the right, giving her a permanent little almost-smirk. Her left eye is a tad bigger. Her nose is slightly off, etc.

Looks great so far, keep up the good work.

    Default Update

Thank you guys for all the comments

I updated some stuff according to your suggestions also tried to render in a different color space

twichmonkey: I agree but someone suggested that the problem came from lack of volume to the hair so I hope that fixed that
Picthpuck:The shader is maya's fast skin rendered in mentalray
Dustinbrown: I have this pic and many more, although I'm not trying to achieve likeness the points you made will be very helpful in getting greater realism

Dustin, is that pic for real? Sick.

Going to take a long look at the wound thread in the community forum to heal my eyes.

While I can't really tell what us different between the two pictures, things do seem to work a bit better in the second render. It's subtle, but somehow more realistic.

@silvaticus: You mean because of the hairs? People, even female people are covered in hairs, you just can't see them unless you've got a really clear shot. Unless they're dark, which luckily hers aren't.

I feel like each new version makes her look a little older. The first one looks youngest. Last one oldest.

looks good, but lighting is too symmetrical and boring, need key light to your left or right to highlight one side to make it bit more interesting.

Dustin : You might be right I think it because the eyes are smaller but non the less i don't think its bad emma is to young
Spaceboy: i'll upload some screen from zbrush soon
Kravit : You're right I did play with that but I am aiming for realism and if you look at ppl photos the lightning is almost always "boaring" but I think It can get more intersting than it is now

She looks real nice. Cool render too. I like use of DoF. Looks a bit like the sfumato portrait technique. Looking forward to updates
