image plane clipping

hi

i’ve set up an image plane, but find that it sits right on top of my model,

can anyone tell me how to move eighter the model or the image planes so they aren’t obscuring one another,

There should be shift options (Shift H + V) in top row Texture/image plane

you need to actually move the object so it’s not in the center of the world.

you can create 2 polygoups
(have the image plane active)
tool>polygroups>auto group
hide the one you want to move, mask the visible, then unhide all
use either the transpose tools or the deformations to move the object away from the other one.
