    Default Ville.Studies

    Hey guys!
Decided to start a new thread, to track my studies now that I sort of have a program to follow. Felt the old one was all over the place, going to try to keep this one neater.

To start of, the 3rd head study finished, as well as the 1st and 2nd.

Any critique will be most welcome.

Ok, another one. This is, besides the pose, all symmetrical:

    Danny!
Dude I was seriously worried !! I thought that you had bumped into one of those floating cubes from Zak's film ,got curious and actually pressed the button ! lol . good to know you are alive bro
You have got some very interesting studies going on here man , you have a certain style that will always make your characters unique ( the balding man shares a resemblance with the guy from la vie ) . dig it all man . keep them coming!

Hhahahaha I'm ok, I'm ok... we gotta catch up! Still in Van? went back home? I'll be on msn more now...

Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it! Though, I believe the style is for the fact that the eyes are illustrative and not realistic as should be hehe. I'll get there, I'll get there....

    cheers man!!

Hey guys, it's been a while, I'm really busy right now with a client's project modeling cars the non Zbrush way, but got some time today so I started this. About 30min, no ref yet, hence lots of things to correct. Not really sure where and how far I'm taking this, but I'm leaning towards something "ye olde" since I started re-reading Bernard Cornwell's King Arthur trilogy

I'm open to suggestions, and of course critique as well.

Ok, not the most popular thread...

I'll post this one anyway, got some more free time today...

still WIP, gotta refine the arrow and crown, and the face some more... not sure where to take the hair/beard, tested some things, maybe a roman style haircut or something like that..

Ok finished the piece. Kept me going for way too long for just a simple study...

    PS.:

I just wanned to take the opportunity to announce that I won't be posting my work here at ZBC for a while. I haven't gotten much feedback lately and I feel bad about posting just for the sake of it.

This is by no means a rant or anything like that. I understand this place has a very, very high level of work and I need to get better to fit in better. I'm still going to be posting on other people's work and being a part of the community the best I can. I just wanted to state this here so it didn't seem like I just gave up.

    cheers and thanks for looking!

On that aspect zbrushcentral is a ruthless community.
You have to be a super modeller to get at least one comment and even then it's not a given....
I know it can be discouraging, I'm in the same spot as you but don't give up!!
Whenever you feel ready post something!

You will not stop posting Daniel, you gotta' share what you're working on with us! We wants to see but we all have to few hours in a day: just take a look at some top threads; some generate a lot of views but relatively few comments. I followed your previous thread, and I am following this one from the day you first put it up!
