    vedanta - thanks very much

    looga - thank you

    well I've been having some fun with the latest HMC - Classic Self Portrait - the idea was to put yourself into a famous sculpture or painting. I have chosen a rather simple one to torture myself heheh - my favourite painting by James Tissot called The Fireplace... apart from the head I've also changed the dog for a cat, which is more like me and modified the fireplace a bit...

    enough talking - I hope you'll like it. It was a fun exercise especially that it wasn't 1 to 1 copying only. Unfortunaltely the time did not allow for an awesome XSI render I had in mind so I give you some Zbrush shots instead...

    and here's a wireframe in case you're interested

    thanks for looking

    mind=blown

    the fabric is so freaking amazing, i really love this type of work, jeez, the hat, the curls, ruffles, drool...

    its funny how you did a self portrait where your face is barely visible

    Wow! This is beautiful, I really like the scene. And a spectacular amount of detail all around, what a great sculpt!

    love it Magda. I especially like the clothing work you've done. There's a lot of thinking that goes into that stuff so I can appreciate that!

    Really nice job on the cloth, how did you go along placing in the vertical line patters so cleanly on the model? Are they sculpted into the mesh or is it a texture?
