Dickie Payne's Sketchbook
Hey folks,
It's been a few years since I posted anything. Decided to put some junk up I have played with in the intervening time. Some old, some new, some crap. It's been a while since I got to use Z-Brush to play...

Hi Dickie!
I always give a try to your "Paper-Sketch" mat at my models, I absolutely love it!
Nice work on the heads, I remember the first on the left and love absolutely the one in the center.
Nice work on the Saurus... and stunning effect on rendering the skin

awesomw...absolutely awesome./......I love the moroccan Guy sculpt...what material is that/

Guti: I'm very happy you like the Sketch material! I still use that occasionally. It's a nice change from the usual photoreal stuff.
Peter: Your work is a MAJOR inspiration for me. I have your webpage bookmarked from when I started working on the dinos. As for the Morrocan's skin, I think it's a variation of the skin I posted a while ago. I used a material that Lil D came up with and modified it from there. You can look in my old threads for it or if you want, I can repost it.
When i did the dinos, i only had like 3 days a piece for them. That's why I only posted the Starikosaurus and the Triceratops...well, he'll be up in a moment. TV production just doesn't allow for much time to do the quality i want to do...

Dickie,...i think you know I love dinosaurs and these are amongst the most sympathetically and sensitively sculpted Ive seen..so good to see them.
Can I ask..anychance of letting me have the moroccan guy material?..i can find it anywhere...or a link to where it rests.
thanks,
Peter
