Hello. In the beginning of July, I had the oppurtunity to take a 2 week sculpting Master Class with Richard Macdonald, a long time hero of mine.
It was an amazing experience and one of the most important things I learned from the session is the idea of "perfect practice".
Yep, Vince Lombardi's quote: "Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect."
Since then I have been sculpting like a machine. Expect some more updates once I get the renders done. Till then, I wanted to share this video with you. Each head variation is done in 20 minutes. Total sculpting time is 2 hours.
Also, if you are in LA, I have setup a weekly sculpting session at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects every Sunday from 11-4. Email me for more info.
Best,
Ryan

what can i say!, Ryan you're the man! your style is unique, and wow! in this video really rocks!, 5 variations in 2 hours!!, im spend two hours in a head and the only thing that i get is the gesture and an ugly sculpted mouth, haha, that video, and all of your work Ryan is very inspiring! i wanna go to that master class! but i cantis sad because here in mexico learn zbrush is a little hard, here, zbrush is unknow!, a few little schools offers some quick foundation of zbrush, but it's so expensive and only teach the basics of the basics haha it means nothing! and for that im learning zbrush for my own
, well that's all my history haha, sorry my bad english!, Ryan, you are the best!

Ryan, you are always a great inspiration...Unfortunately in Hungary there are no classes like this...
But from now on I'm gonna sculpt weekly few heads for practice!
