Thanks again!
Here are new rendering tests
This of my man Rincewind I made some time ago
And a recent speed sculpt from a polysphere (3 hrs)

Hey Cherub...lovely work as usual..Have you tried using texture maps in keyshot from Zbrush?... stunning combined with the translucent material
I avoid the bump map issue by simply importing a fairly high res obj (with uv's) then simply apply the poly painted texture map... Give it a go

Hi cherub_rock the rendering of the head is outstanding, the skin. Would you share the process on how to do it? You said something about key shots, but don't know what that is.
Thanks.
Hey, nice work on the head. I try to study anatomy a lot, and it would take quite an effort to make a head look that realistic in just three hours. I like how the light plays at the top of the head and subtly brings out the surface details in that region. Overall it looks very convincing, only the dimple in the chin looks a bit too exaggerated in that last render.
Shader update and fibermesh additions.

wow, looks great. How long it takes to render ?
Quite nice! What material did you applied in KeyShot for the beard?

So here's the final. Sculpted in Zbrush, retopoed in 3d coat and rendered in Keyshot. I've made a switch the usual Rincewind's red robes for these yellow ones, I felt it worked better in this case.

WOW!! That's just awesome!!![]()
Excellent, really cool to see some Discworld stuff![]()
That came out nicely. The yellow/violet complementary colors make an interesting combination to his sad and thoughtful gaze. I also like how the eyes look wet and react to the light in a realistic way.
