Another portrait created with Zbrush and images of how it progressed.
For rendering I've used material blending and rendered a couple of bpr passes with different positioning of a single default light which I've comped in photoshop.
Awesome works, i just rediscovered your thread here after a long time not being active on zbc. Love those portraits you did, they really rock. Excellent attention to the details and they look so natural, great job dude
Glad you decided to post some stuff here on zbc again, i would have missed that totally if it was only on FB
My man! How've you been? Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a nice comment! I see you've been doing something new as well, let me check it out
New work, a commission for Jamie Murphy who will print it for his father who is an MJ fan.
A big thank you goes to the people critiquing my work, you make me more grounded and help me produce better work. I'm glad I can still see that, even though with a lot of conflict
I have studied your whole thread and loved it so much the likeness of all characters. Please would you make one batman and hulk sculpt and provide me with obj file and texture. I would really appreciate your help.
Addy, if you mean you would like to hire me to do hulk and batman for you and prepare them with uv layouts and texture maps, then please hit me with a private message with an offer. If you mean that I just work for free for you and provide you with the mentioned models, my answer is sadly no
I suppose I gets nostalgic for video games of my youth when cold weather comes
So here's a few touch ups and a re-render in Zbrush of the Mario and my version of Bowser scene, with added environment, and I did the same for Mario and Yoshi
Hi Frigid! Thanks for your comment, sure, here's a breakdown for Mario, and in the same manner I've created Yoshi.
Posed them, and rendered with a basic materail applied to the whole scene. I've edited the material with some wax to around 30, and breaked the specularity with a noise slider under material propreties. Added one main, and one backlight and that's pretty much it. The AO I've set up to resolution of 1024 and blur of 3, and the shadow to 60 rays and 60 angle, the rest was default. I've rendered out that, and another pass with colors turned off and a reflected map materail overall, and combined them in photoshop with screen blending mode, with some opacity tweaks. And the depth pass for lens blur.
