    Default Another Practice.

    Cheers Captain .

I've been practicing some more on creating some character heads, so here's another, I'm going to work on this one as a proper practice piece, anyway hope it's looking fine, the structure is based on a Japanese young woman:

    Default My Practice Character

I continued work on my Girl practice model. I want just to make a bust from her, so here is how she is looking so far. I re-topped her and am now trying to get the shapes and features more defined.

I also think she needs some hair, so maybe will set her up with some next.

Nice studies. I think the girl needs a little more work, IMO. Especially around the eyes. I always have problems with that, too. It`s a very tricky area.
Are you still working on Ramos? He`s looking great. I like the pose very much. I`m looking forward to seeing an update.

Hi Moni, thanks for the reply it's been a while , around the eyes are a tough thing for sure, I guess practice is the key . Yes I will return to my Ramos character, just wanted to play around and learn more stuff to be-able to implement what I learn on my Ramos character.

I am really glad you like the model so far Moni .

Well did some extra work on my Nordic Warrior character, worked even more on the facial details and hair.

    Default My CGSociety BMovie Entry

    Hi guys,

It's been a while since I last posted on ZBrush Central, the last couple of months I decided to join in and enter the B-Movie Challenge in CGSociety. So my concept was a take on King Kong, but instead of a Giant Gorilla, it's a Giant Mutated Chicken by the name of Chic Kong So basically my composition is a Mutant Chicken carrying a woman up the Empire State Building!

The Buildings, Helicopters, TItle and the Base mesh of the Chicken were done in 3DSMax, and then the chicken was taken into ZBrush, posed, detailed up and textured.

The woman character should be familiar , yep I took Chocolate Girl as my Base mesh, so I added feet to her, retopologised and posed her, created her nighty and hair, and textured her all in ZBrush. So she looks very different.

I then put everything into modo, to set up the scene and lighting and finally rendered it out. Then I did some photoshop work on it and added the Poster elements. Hopefully it has the feeling of an old B-Movie Poster.

I have submitted it as the final image and the deadline for challenge is today, so looking forward to seeing how I do!! But the good thing is I learnt alot from doing it and that's the important thing.

Default The Beginnings of a Skeletal Warrior

True, I never seem to finish anything, it's just there's just no time to finish anything!!!

So here's something new that I might not finish

A skull warrior, gonna give him medieval garments and the like:

Unhappy Oh well, yet another new thing!!

I really need to try and get at least one finished piece of work, but so much time goes between each time I get the chance to play with ZBrush, that I have lost momentum on one thing and start a new thing instead.

So here is another start on something, a pig character. Not sure what way to take him? Go for a typical warrior mutant pig thing or a pig with a top hat, cigar and tie.

    Da_Pig.jpg

Really looking forward in seeing what new and cool unannounced features are in ZBrush 4!!! Cheers Pixologic!!

Continuing work on Pigsy...worked a bit more on the main head features and wrinkling, plus started working on the ear and tongue. Hopefully will copy the ear over once it's modelled fully.
