amazing.
Are you using zbrush completely to create this character, or are you mixing in some max/maya (or othe program). Just curious of your workflow.

It's looking amazing man. I'm digging the shoulders. Keep it up.

Stunning work. Can't wait to see it finished.
And I know exactly what you mean about the need for max. I have the same problem/pleasure. Hopefully GoZ will work for max when 4.0 is released (fingers crossed)

liking everything i see in this thread. great work.
can i ask what matcap was used for the final post of the locust model?
-
this made me think of sub zero mixed with something medevil like armor, combine with characters from mad max lol, great modeling man, love the detail.

Wow, you've done a great job on all of that new armor! Nevermind all of the "Subzero" comparisons, because I suspect you're going to tie that into the rest of everything (right?) My only question is on those "X" ties you have going on everywhere among the armor. You've done such a good job on modeling the armor, that it doesn't seem to need rope-like ties to what is underneath. That is, unless they tie into some sort of leather or fabric. With all of the awesome tech stuff you have going on, they just don't seem fitting.
On one hand, they look really cool. On the other, can the character survive without them? Since you went back to the drawing board on this one, the "x" ties look like a hangover from the GOW looking stuff. I really like this new guy and what you've done. You've really pressed forward form the GOW stuff and made your own sculpt. Don't go backwards!
