Great likeness, don't follow comics so didn't know who Jonah Jameson is but though "looks like the GM at the newspaper from spiderman...", check and you nailed the likeness...love the timelapses

d100763 - Thanks. He is indeed the guy from Spider-Man. Glad you liked it.

Just uploaded a quick ZBrush turntable of my Ray Lamontagne model. Hope it makes it easier to evaluate the model.

Here's another quick speed sculpt I did today. My characters rarely seem to be women so this was challenging but fun. Originally started recording a time lapse for this one but had a crash so lost the video.

    Here is a character sheet. C & C's welcome.

Really nice sketchbook so far man a lot of fun stuff. This latest one is my personal favorite of the bunch, a lot of personality. Would love to see it taken to full character.

    Default Speed Monster

polaroid29 - Thanks!! Will see if I can think of what to do for the rest of the body. Hadn't really thought much past the head when I started. Could be fun though.

Here is a speed sculpt I did with a sphere and Dynamesh. It was designed totally on the fly so there are some areas that are under worked but over all i am happy with how it came out. Managed to record the session as well which is always good to watch back and work out where you went right/wrong.

C&C's welcome as ever. Hope you like the video!!

    Default Ray Lamontagne Sculpt

Evan Gaugh - Thanks!!! Glad you liked it.

Here is a render of the Ray Lamontagne sculpt I have been working on. Pretty happy about where it's got to and I think I am going to leave it here for the time being. Time to move on to the next model.

The model was rendered with Mental Ray through a "clay" set up I have used with a few of may other models. Textures were made in Photoshop.

    C&C's welcome as ever.

    Default TNMT - Donatello

It has been quite a while since my last post. Where does the time go?

This one is another nostalgic piece. Donatello was always my favourite of the turtles so I thought I would do my own version of the character. Added in some features from a sea turtle and tried to make it seem a bit more realistic. The model was rendered with Mental Ray.

    C&C's will be much appreciated.

Very nice sculpt love the idea, by the way turtles are amphibious and have fins, tortoises have legs.

    Late to reply as ever!!

invertedNormal, KingCarter, huber - Thanks very much for the comments. I really appreciate you taking the time to have a look at my work.

Rudeapple - Thank you for the comments and the tip about turtles. I guess that's why we love 3D because we can change stuff!!

JD MAXimius - Thanks!! The material is just an Architectural material rendered in MR. I rendered an extra specular pass and a load of mattes to adjust the colours of the different sections. Very simple set up.

Thanks again everyone for commenting. I have started doing a quick paint over of the model. Hopefully I will be able to post it soon
