    Talking My Alter Ego

    I just don't have a gun!

It's all ZBrush with a generic P4possette as a base.
Texture Master was used with my Texture Pack textures, no painting for all meshes.

Objects built in Z, remapped in UVMapper.

Postwork done in Z. Mostly a little smudging here and there...

gasp ...I posted to this earlier..I musta hit something wrong....Kathy, love the emotion the girl is expressing in her pose....is this a self portrait you hottie? ))) and as Joe said, it's great to see your work again...and I am also glad that you are well enough to be able to be doing it....I like the weapon you chose for her to use...a little mini mac10 or something...Have you ever considered producing an illustrated comic....she would be a kewl female character for sure!!!!!

    You guys are great.

I had alot of fun making this one. It did take extra time. I guess about 20 hours or so. I was messing with her before I got sick. Ever since Jolie did Tombraider, I've been living vicariously. I have such a BORING life. No monster robots chasing me. haha!

fil, I am hiring out. I've been told my angst is so frightening that I don't need a gun.

Ron, let's see, it's kinda me. Lara here is 10 years my junior, her hair is too long and the wrong shade of red. I have brown eyes, not blue, and I have never owned a pair of combat boots. HAHA!

Thanks for looking in on my fun.

Guess the closest I'll get is going to the grocery store and battling killer shopping carts in the parking lot! (gotta protect my baby)

Cool set of wheels Kathy. I drive an '83 - which these Alberta winters are determined to kill!
Since you are hiring out, send a contract... got a big job for ya!

Very good tombraiderish pict! Why do alot of people use poser when ZBrush models so well What is poser I feel like some images that have poser elements in them look a little stiff but what impresses me about yours is that you made her looked quite relaxed and natural!

www.curiouslabs.com to read up on Poser

ZBrush models fabulously. I won't even argue the fact. Southern (our resident Zmaster) uses Michael and Vicki (from DAZ) extensively. His Ascension piece is all Michael with alittle ZBrush for clothe, and props. And it turned out nicely.

    But I digress.

I use Poser because it gets me to where I want to be quickly. I'm an illustrator/texturer by trade and even if I'm just doing something for myself, 18 years of training bleeds onto the clock. It's always ticking for me.

Finally, I do not hold an affinity to ZBrush or any one software package. I will use what gets me to where I want to be the most efficiently and successfully.

Hope I didn't bore you with rhetoric!

And of course, these are my opinions only. they may not hold water for anyone else.

Thanks for the kind words on her. I felt really good when finished.

fil- I'll email a contract. hee hee

Our Z gave me fits in the winter in Illinois. We ended up buying Z rated tires to help with the rain, but damn that rear suspension just isn't made for snow, huh?

    Rock on my Maro Brother!

BTW for the record. I REALLY do love ZBrush.

Kathy, I will wait, patiently as possible for that contract - soooo much work to be done at the ole shop hehehe.
Camaros and snow.... bad combo if there ever was one. The rearend always wants to be in front! Right now, we have once again been blessed with anoth dump of the white cra... uh, stuff. And I commute. Sometimes frontwards, sometimes backwards, other times sideways. Yiipee
