Fernando Kuhlmann: Hey Fernando! Thank you very much.
The model was for a challenge from the company Materialise.
    http://www.materialise.com/
They launched i.materialise in 2009 where you can upload your model, choose the material and size and get it printed.
You need to check out this video.
They`re doing alot of awesome things. Very cool use of 3d printing.

Troy1617: Troy, thank you very much for all the compliments.
Regarding the best company... well.. in my opinion the best 3d prints of models I`ve seen to date are printed by desmoda from ownage:
    http://www.ownage.com/

    http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthr...t=65634&page=1
I also love my print from Materialise (see links above).
It`s not very big -- about 3,5 inch (9cm) so I think the details came out very nice and they`ve done a great job. From what I`ve seen they have a lot of different printers and materials. Just check out their hp.
shavedmonkey: Hiya! Thank you very much. Are you working on something new? I was talking to Andrew from CGCOACH a few weeks ago and there will be a new contest in the near future. I hope you`re going to enter then. Would be cool!
gordon-v: Hey Max! Thank you very much for the compliments.
And I so love your girl with the wings. When are they going to print it?
    Captain Sensible:
Hey Captain, thank you very much!
Regarding the 6ft monster -- I hope I can show some pics in a few weeks. It`s a creature.. but not a cartoony one.
O/MI: Hey! Thanks a lot! I`m glad to hear you like it. LG
karmajf: Thank you very much! Yeah, well.. he`s steeling the letters out of the books.. so that`s not a good thing either.
InsoManiac: Hi there! Thanks a lot for the compliment. Do you have no time or don`t you want to model something at the moment? I hope to see something new from you soon.
klausknuth: Hey Klaus, thank you very much! I`m happy to hear it made you smile.
Energise: Hi Jonas! Nice to hear from you and thanks a lot for the kind words.
Runen: Thank you very much! Hehe, well.. that`s easy. All you need is a Lettereater-eater.
jmeyer: Thank you very much for the compliments. Danke.
bludragon: Thanks a lot, bludragon! I wish I could show it right now but it`s not ready yet. Please be patient.
spimmy: Hi spimmy! Long time no talk. Thank you very much!
    manzarek123: Hey
Adán, thank you so much for all the compliments. I`m glad to hear you like it. I hope I can post the other stuff soon.
branduarte: Hey Cézar! Thank you very much
    !

    Hi moni,
is it done on a ZCorp printer using ceramic material (feels a little grainy to the touch)?

InsoManiac: 18hours art lessons per weeks sounds awesome! I wish I`d have that much time for Zbrush per week. Kind of sad to hear you don`t want to model at the moment. But at least you`re checking ZBC regulary and who knows, maybe we`ll see new things from you soon.
    max-tx: Thank you very much.
arthurduque: Thanks a lot. I`m glad to hear you like the colors.
Lucky_1: Hey Lucky! Thank you very much for the nice comment.
Heiner_hink: Hello Heiner' Yes, as far as I know it`s done on a ZCorp printer but I can`t tell you which material they`ve used because they have a lot of different materials and I didn`t ask.
    -------------------------------------

Hopefully I have some time for Zbrush today. I finally need to finish all my unfinished models because I want to start with a new big project as soon as possible.
I want to create my own planet with animals, plants, inhabitants, a background story and a profile for each species.
That will keep me busy for the next years I guess.
I`ll make all the concepts and maps of the different areas as well as 2d images of the environment with Paintstop and the whole sculpting and texturing in Zbrush.
I think I need to start a new thread for this project because it`ll be too confusing when I model something cartoony or project-unrelated stuff from time to time.
Have a nice weekend everyone and see you soon.
