    Hi

    Only for testing i tried,how far i can go....so i divided 1 tool ( a whole body ) up to 14,045 millions.....i can still work without problems,also sculpting reacts slower as normal
    filesize is about 250mb

    machine - notebook
    core 2 duo p8600 ( 2,4 ghz )
    4 gig memory

    maybe the difference is,i am working with windows 7 64bit

    @Point, @Runen:
    Sorry for that we did it in german. Moni-Paroni helped me a lot and I found a way to reduce the file (splitting). It is still very slow but faster than before and Zbrush chrashes fewer. With splitting the large subtools and deleting those parts which I do not need, I reduced the complete file from 1.3GB down to 700MB.

    It all sounds a bit, that Zbrush runs better on Windows than on Mac. I wonder if it would help me to buy more GB for my computer. Now I have 2 GB. Could go up to 4GB!?

    Well, here is my finished artwork for the challenge on cghub.com. Hope you like it.

    pretty appealing stuff .. the guy is luking nice ..pose is gud ... but i think the pose is loosing strength bcoz of that loose hand grip ... may be he can old the sword more tightly..

    Thanks Hell666, 4 gb will be better. It seems any and all suggestions make a combined improvement to file performance.

    GIJoe is very good I like the stance, maybe the right elbow can go higher even horizontal. Perhaps even the other elbow as well, following the line of the sword.
