    Default Yona's Little Adventures...

    Hi everybody!!

Following my work for "ANtoine in the forest" i can't sop myself thinking of new projects in ZB and XSI...most of them are connected with my personnal projects..So i've decided to open a sketchbook thread in which one i hope you'll give me many advices!!!

"Antoine in the forest" was a first test for LIGHT FIELDS, an animated feature film project...I want to work on other stuffs like characters (with always a bit of BG) so in the next month you'll probably see characters sculpting for this project (if you want to see pictures you can see a lot of stuff on my blog ) For now i re-post the final picture to open the sketchbook

Now, i'm in holiday (my first for 5 years) and i spend a lot of time writing, drawing, and sculpting..

My next project deals with an other animated feature project named "TRAVEL TO MAMA".. a funny road movie which talks about a kid who's lost with his grandma in the middle of nowhere and has to deal with a smuggling family (crazy bus drivers!!) to find his mother...

here you can see all the family (Enzo, the father, his best friend Guido and his 2 nice daughters LINE and MIA)

and a quick turn for the ENZO and GUIDO...they are a bit rough, but as i only work for me i don't need more than that

See you soon for the first steps of the modeling and the first sketch of the illustration with all the characters (including the boy and the grandma that i haven't designd yet )

Hi Yona, I love your WIP images -- great start!

Regarding the tires -- aaah I believe I saw a tutorial here @ZBC, but of course I can´t find it now.

But I hope this tutorial by Sebastien Legrain helps->

If I´ll find something else I´ll let you know.

    Edit
Here it is -- you have to scroll down a little bit.

Hmmm...just realized this tutorial would have been very useful for several things I´ve tried and had no success. I could cry now *LOL*

    Hi guys!
Let me introduce to Martin...I've spent the afternoon struggling with him (too young, too old...Arghhhh) but now it's HIM!
The advantage with ZB is the fact that i'll be able to refine the design because i'm more confortable with volume
hope u will like the young man!
So! let's get back to Sculpt!! tomorrow low polyssss!!

    hi guys!

    robo3687: thanx man!
Moni :well if you're zbrushing and if you have so much subtools...you have to show us on what you're working on missy! just for you to know, i could have so much subtools in my scene only because, when one of them was finished to sculpt, i decimated it. The idea is to keep a high resolution model for backup and final image but when you sculpt a specific subtool, you don't need to have all the other subs in high rez. Instead of lowering the subdivision it's helpfull to have some decimated subtools just to keep the final look and be sure that what you're sculpting fits with the other ones..
    mohamed raoof: thanx man

Today i've decided to work on Emrold, so here is a work in progress of my lowpoly. This character is so fun to make!
