    Default "Le Chambellan"

Hi all, first post here for me ^^.
It' s a creature I saw in Hellboy 2, and i can' t resist to play with!
I found the original design which i prefer so it not the movie one...
    still wip .
Thanks for the great artists community we have here, I learn a lot looking your works.
    All c&c are welcome.

Very nice, this is creepy, interesting and has great subtle detailing that keeps
me looking. Great color choices and painting. Amazingly I have not seen
HBII, so my slant is not based on seeing this char before.

I think a front render would work a lot better, check it out ;d Also the lips could use some more red or pink, its kind of hard to find them now ;d
Anyway cool idea, and a bit creepy ;]

thank you for your reply Dustin, I will post a render with a real antialiasing and good samples later :-)
In HBII he is a background character, he is only in few scene.

very unique design, i like it a lot. not that standard alien-looking-like-a-human design.

Totally agree with n-drew's comment. Very unique design and/or implementation of existing design! Solid overall.

The folds of the neck would probably contain compressed pigmentation -- maybe a little more hue and value variation in the texture? It's starting to feel a bit like alabaster or ivory as opposed to flesh.

Really like the subtle skin and wrinkles sculpting. The fat aspect is great too, I can feel the gravity effect on it Keep it up !

So, here is the last image, with maps and lighting modifications. I hope you will like it.
Modeling and displace extraction in Zbrush, mapping in Zbrush and photoshop, render in mental ray. ( first try with linear workflow ,THX KDS)
