really nice.like the spikes.very cool concept so far![]()
Ty Phosforced, hope I can see this one through
This is cool, would love to see how the full body turns out
Iavman - ty man
Here is another version, trying to sort out which to focus on first
Need to edit the first some more and get rid of some of the forms that do not make
any sense in the overall design. This all started as a practice session to make those
inflated balloon like form style we see here and there.
Any way
Go back and re-work and attempt a finish to this Halloween challenge bit too, hopefully.:P
Cheers
keep on sculpting
To be honest I was liking the hornless one best ... something more real about that design.
Cheers
D.
@deckard1 & dragon - thanks for the input fellas, prolly work on all 3 for practice.
That last one is more inspired by pteradons, pitch black ones were hammerhead like.
Anywho, for sure sorting the first one more, just seemed a little too flat and less dynamic.
Need to sort out those pointless features and make them make more sense in the flow.
Curious to get a consensus of which one is the most popular,
seeing them together may help, whats everyones vote?
Bear in mind I will most likely work on all three, none of them are "done" (yay dynamesh)
just massed in, probably push and pull a bit more.

B for me. It feels like it has some more intensity and weight.
I will go with... C just because it is different from most of the dragon sculpts you see and with more polish and detail it will pop in a unique way.
B for males and A for females.
Hmm thanks for the input, I had not considered using them as differing parts of a single species or culture.
Think I may start with C just to give it a little more substance then move back to A then on to B
I seem to have to states of sculpting results, too much or too little. Still working on that.

B holds together brilliantly but C's uniqueness is nice too.
I feel that A has a few too many different design elements that aren't continued through the piece yet (in particular the cheek pores and chin horns. B and C feel more cohesive.
