Thanks guys! gordon-v, thanks for the tip on the face

Updates - Been a little pre-occupied and went on holiday too. Here's what I've been doing in the meantime. The hair is just a placeholder at the moment.

Hi there captain, very cool, loving the accessories and knives. Really like the belts and the way they are harnessed. Looking forward to seeing her hair.

Hey Captain. First a little question
May I ask you which material you`re using? That`s a really nice one!
I agree with the others -- very nice work on the weapons and the other stuff...
There`s one thing I don`t like, though.... the hair... BUT I read it`s just a placeholder. I`m looking forward to seeing the final haircut.

    SolidSnakexxx: Thanks!
    spimmy: Thanks!
    dustbin1_uk: Thanks!
Etcher: Thanks! Hopefully soon we will both have GoZ and ZSpheresII
    maxinkuk: Thanks!
Moni-Poroni: Thanks! The material is the matcap grey that comes with the software. I find it quite useful for sculpting as it doesn't mislead the appearance too much like some materials can. It's a little black in the dark areas though which isn't so useful. Maybe I'll learn how to make my own material one day!

Hey Captain, thanks for the reply but unfortunately I can`t find this matcap.
If I remember rightly you`re on a Mac? Maybe we PC users don`t have the same material.. I don`t know.

hey man, that frog is great! i really loved the direction of that action hero girl you were doing up until the final render. the sculpt itself looks really awesome. you should totally go back and give her a better pose and work on the textures more. it would be a shame to see all that hard work put into the sculpt go to waste with an unfinished pose and texture. you have definitely got the skills!

Moni: I'm sure it's just a default matcap in the pc version too. Here's a screen grab of its location.

Stefanuto: Thank you! I needed a hug

sarakawa: Thanks dude! I am currently working on a new version of Nitrate with more than just a better pose and textures (check my previous few posts). I had to rush her in the contest and had to compromise a lot of things. So she is getting finished now.

    Hey Cap,
This version of Nitrate is looking really nice! Very Natural! Congrats and great work! Costume and weapons are looking good too. I am not so sure about the hair though. I suggest a haircut like the dudes from the Misfits.
Keep up the great work, man!
