Great new models. They look like they were made of real clay.

He´s looking friendly but also a little bit sneaky. Better be careful.

    Default Render Layers

This is how I like to work my render layers... it's not THE way to do it, but I think it works

First of all, the diffuse and Occlusion layers.. I like to use this diffuse to make an overall ambient pass, with the occlussion to solve details as a Multiply; so I can tweak the ambience.

    01.jpg

I use the keylight pass as an stencil/alpha channel for the diffuse pass, wich is set OVER the ambient, so where it's lit, will give me the true lighting without the occlussion over the lit areas. Here I can tweak the light intensity, and to certain amount, the light color.
    Blend mode: Normal

    02.jpg

The subsurface Scattering pass, the red blob (green in this case) under your skin, right under the keylight pass, will give the character a waxy look. It contributes a bit to lighting
    Blend mode: Normal

    03.jpg

Last but not least, the specular pass. I like to use this in Screen mode, to give a wet/sweaty look to the character. I use it also for a specular bloom effect, blurring it a little (not in this character)
    Blend mode: Screen

    04.jpg

After that, it's all tweaking, trial and error until it looks nice for me... sometimes I apply a Lens Blur for depth of field.

Epidemic disease in mexico, the schools are closed, and all the massive events cancelled... there is still no vaccine.

The people walks covering their mouths, there is an ambience of despair in the eyes of everyone, the drugstores ran out of supplies and the government has accepted to be useless to confront this crisis....

60 people have died and almost one thousand are declared infected... 10,000 people estimated infected just in mexico city, where I live.

The only thing I can make is continue as if nothing was happening and pray everyday

Default This is something I've never seen

Mexico city is a ghost town, people is afraid to go outside their homes. For first time in it's history it is absolutley clean. Clean of trash, clean of vagabonds, prostitutes and even thieves, but almost clean of commercial activity. The city I live in (sometimes called Mexico's city bedroom) is in the same state: People is afraid, working and traveling every day to mexico city.

Schools are closed in all the country. Rumours are traveling faster than pixologic's contests...

In my city the view is impressing, almost everyone wears surgical masks and latex gloves, the stores are closed and the whole city is becoming a ghost town just like mexico city.

Some friends are sick, but it's not the H1N1.

God bless the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, who taught me through all my life to be prepared to cases like this.
I am calm, if the worse happens, we have some food stored, drinking water and water for cleaning.

Something beautiful about this, this photo I found on Internet: Mexico's city Metro, where you can sleep standing up because the people around you won't let you fall, empty.

    Smile Zombies

I know it is serious but the why you have written it and others reply's sounds like what people would say to each other if a zombie Apocalypse came along.

Hope all is well for you
