    Default Characters of Tuwakanu

I am new to zbrush. I am working on a series of characters from a bunch of drawings for a comic i have been doing.
The story is of an ancient fictional african civilization called Tuwakanu. I wanted to have a man vs beast feeling to it.
    O'dyeh
Aire to the throne of Tuwakanu. O'dyeh has been branded with the ancient markings of Tuwan giving him peak human physical condition, slowed aging, and accelerated healing. Although the Tuwakan code justifies the killing of man when nessicary, O'dyeh has sworn not to kill man. He believes that it is not his choice whether to decide the fate of man. O'dyeh is equipped with a spear and machette.

    Tauroo
Tauroo is a god like being in the nation of tuwakanu. He was originally blessed with immortality by the gods. After he betrayed his home nation, he was cursed with partial immortality. According to legend, Tauroo can only be killed by the hand of the animal. Fearing life after death, Tauroo isolated himself from all wildlife and developed a fear for all animals. Tauroo still boast of immortality, but fears the day his curse will be discovered.

Looking better and better. I like his facial expression. He seems a bit angry for me. Anyway, the chin is looking a bit small for me. An advice: try to stay as low in subdivision as possible. Only subdivide if anything to do on a certain level anymore. It helped a lot for me to reach the desired shape. Are you going to modell his body as well?

    The Gazzelle
it's origin is unknown. Believed to be immortal, this being wrecks havoc through its seemingly never ending hunger. The Gazzelle has eaten entire nations' livestock leaving them without food. Now this beast threatens Tuwakanu, but what man could defeat such a beast.

rough sculpt. When i'm done, he's going to look a lot angrier.

Hi TheNorm. I like your characters, especially the Gazelle. His facial expression is great. I don't know anything about your problem whit the white spots, but if you are going to add wrinkles, I think you need to use more subdivision. You can sculpt wrinkles using Rake, Slash, Ram brushes combined with Standard, Clay and Pinch brushes together, or you can make them using alphas with DragRect stroketype. But I'm not a great expert of detailing anyway. So, keep on posting your characters!

omg zbrush is so annoying. I was working on the gazelle for about 2 hours then zbrush freezes suddenly before i could save it. Then the same thing happens when i was working on tauroo.
is there any way for zbrush to make a backup file so i can still have the save even if it crashes becuase this is not the first time this has happened.
