Great stuff, I love this entry.
But speaking of proportions I think that her thighs may be slightly too long, looking at her back view the back of her knee looks a bit low.

somehow I managed to miss the last update... Just want to say the proportion's looking good and the huge rock that will be added to the scene's coming along. (May be needing a few more ZLove and subdiv) But overall this is great

So nice to see someone really making use of Zsphere's for a project. And nice work so far.

petercw, jp_smith, SolidSnakexxx, Jason Belec: Thanks for your replies.

maxinkuk: Thanks. Well, yeah, it looked like her knees were too low so I made some changes to her thighs. I beleive it looks better now:

    Update:
I made some face variation sketches (the hair is temporary). Which one you think is the most appropriate?

Hi the first one is much better I think.
It looks like the other two have the jaw slightly protruding in an not very natural way.

    I definitely prefer # 1.

It looks a lot more natural and feminine to me, beautiful sculpting!

maxinkuk, Harmonic, SolidSnakexxx: Thanks for your help and replies. (The first version is my favorite too.)

I started to retopologize the kitten's base mesh because the ZSphere Adaptive Skin's polygon topology was wrong, it didn't mirror the intersection of the feet and toes on the mirrored legs correctly. I think it's a ZSphere Tweak plugin bug.

    Update:
I started working on the boot shape with the topology tools, and did some sculpting. I made a video of the process from a ZScript I've recorded (Unfortunately I couldn't record the whole thing because of some bug in the recorded script).

Very clean and controlled design. Looking great.

I'm curious. Did the weighting of the Zsphere help retain the shape of the character when you subdivided the mesh?

Or, just weighting with more resolution in the mesh help keep the shape?

I did a zsphere and when I subD'd it became very smooth and small.

    thanks.

    Thanks for your replies.

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks. I'm still working on retopologizing the kitten...

AVTPro: For building the base character mesh I used ZSphere with AdaptiveSkin Density level 2. When I tried setting the Adaptive Skin Density to a higher level, the base mesh didn't change. The control spheres work on the same on a higher level as on a lower level.

    *Light*: Thanks for your vote.

    Update:

I started working on the underwear:

    Thanks Seavannah.

    Update:

I made the topology of the kitten.
I started the anatomical base, I'll make the fur after I'm finished with that. To make overlapping parts esaier to acces in the sculpting phase I used Polygroups to be able to hide certain parts later on.
