    Hi Gordon,

here's a quick sketch of what I mean. Using those ridges as well as adding a few more to cut the model in pieces and literally explode it along its normals. In the sketch it's all a bit too dramatic maybe, probably it would be better if most of the chunks would not go too far from the body, actually, to make sense it should be that smaller chunks fly away further whilst larger one stay closer. You could then even sculpt the geometry between the shells and the core by for example carving out blobs to give the feel of some event at particle level going on there.

And here's a description of the morph method given by Kraken a couple of days ago:

I look forward to hear what you think of this.

    Cheers

I will think about doing this, even ths process of deintegraten is far away from what I originaly thought of. But its a damn cool idea and somthing i could achieve with zbrush! I ll give it a try! Thank you so much maxinkuk!!!

I'm so very glad you like the idea. Of course the question is if you feel like taking this route at this point in time. Not an easy decision at all. It may be not too much work actually if done in the right way.

    yeah your right
maybe i can just add this deintegration process later as an detail by pulling out some parts in a dynamic way. so it fells that he just have arived at the spot he is standing and gathering his parts. My initial idea was that he can travel with the speed of light. he disintegrates into molecules dravels his way and instantly building up his form again when he arrives. the saver should move in a little time delay and are attaching themselfs one by one to his body. I really could show that arriving state with the morph difference technique.
On top of that I really like the pic you showed me of Boccioni's Unique forms of continuity in space.
So doing that would be kind of a tribute to Boccioni

I really like the 3rd pose Gordon! Nice work! Looks like he his ready to give a high kick to someone Maybe close the left fist or pose the fingers differently?

gordon-v Im liking posetest4, though I would exaggerate the bend more and twist the torso more putting him off balance so he's got that look where hes dodging an attack and counter-attacking.

    Nice work!

I agree, the pose is nice and active but needs to show more of him attacking. Nice antomy and suit design!

    Default Retopology!

    Thanks for stopping by guys!

    goldo_O

yeah thats my favorite pose too. but I wasnt my intention to showing of
a high kick! I just wanted him in a kinda backwards movment when he shoots
a impulse beam out of his right hand. Maybe I have to change the position of the leg so it transports that information better.
For the left hand, this is just a rough idea with what im going with. I defenatly will pose the fingers differently. Thanks for the critics!

    SOLcreator
I will try that, thx sol!

    KayDee
Im glad you like my suit design! thx!

    Retopology:
So here comes my first poor atempt on doing the retopology for him.
I will make the hands and head seperate from the body, because my laptop
can handle higher polycounts better this way.

since you have made a decent sculpt why not make a
topology that has some muscle flow built into it?

you are putting a lot of time into this so instead of
making the grid like topology you have chosen, try to poly-paint
around the muscle groups using an anatomy chart for reference.

    hope this helps

    cheers

    Default back in action!

back in action.. but I think I wont make it to the deadline. I had so much to do the last week, and I have also prepare everything for my year at vfs, were I will start next week!

enought said, here is my progress:

I did a lot of poses. Somehow I wansent satisfied with Pulse shooting. Instead of that pose, I decided to do a "charging pose" before he shoots!
here it is, what do you think?
