I am liking pose 4 and 3, leaning towards 4 more tho, Just more action and movement going on in it. Keep it up man, you better finish this guy!

He's looking really good! I think poses 1, and 2 are too passive. Poses 3, and 4 are better, but still not powerful enough. I think he needs a pose, and facial expression that really show off his power, and fury. A pose that fits his name, Rampage. Would he leap over something, or would he smash through it?

    Maybe something more like this:

    Default Base idea

spimmy - thanks - yep - i hope so too!

petekasim - thanks for the suggestion... I'm actually thinking of maybe putting in some bullet holes in the debris - maybe some shell casings or something like if he's in the middle of a rampage and being shot at by the military...

    Limitless_Thought2207 - Thanks man!

SolidSnakexxx - Thanks! Pose 4 it is!! haha... altho i've decided to make it more of a grounded pose now - as with his size and weight ppl seemed to have some trouble believing he could attain such a pose... haha!

    Etcher - thanks.

Webhead - thanks for the reference man! Yep - i'm definitely gonna see how best i can bring out that "rampage" in him...

    Nattawat_OBBI - thanks.

    -------------------------------

Hey guys - well - i think i'm pretty much going with pose 4... I need to keep this moving if i'm gonna finish on time! Already it's gonna be cutting it tight on him...
Did up some quick geo for the base... Hope you like. Still open to suggestions - but running short on time - and work deadlines and projects really are hindering me from spending as much time as I'd like to on rampage. Wish me luck!! haha.

I love it! This is amazing!! Very dynamic and the base with everything on it is perfect. Can't wait to see some texture on him.

    Default Quick question

another question for you if you dont mind. How did you get the tire tread on there? Was it flat and you put the texture on there and made it cylindrical? or was it masking? curious to know your approach. Great work!!! Great pose with lots of action.

    The base looks great!

'Bout the pose: the rough of P4 looks very dynamic (mid-air jump); the leaning on the block with his right arm makes the pose more static ( jumping up/out from between the rubble) imo: you might wanna rotate the left leg a bit (attached pic).

Anyways, wonderful work ! What an inspiration!

    Default Extension?

cmoffitt - Thanks man! Yea- hopefully I'll get that far in time!

Aberrant - This one the threads were modeled in xsi. However you could do it also with a texture-and inflate - or with radial-sim turned on and the count turned up to sculpt it all around a cylinder...

SolidSnakexxx - haha - thanks man!

wethand - Thanks! Glad u like!

Etcher - Thanks man... yea - the right arm is more of a passing touch than him leaning full weight on it - it's more of a practical thing for the sculpt - so that it would be able to stand up properly with support from the arm and foot on the ground. But I am still fine tuning the pose to be balanced correctly. I appreciate the input and ref!

    Moni-Poroni - Thanks man!

    --------------------------

Ok - I'm really happy to see the positive feedback I'm getting...
But it's really getting late in the game - and my work just keeps on piling up. Really worried if i'll be able to finish or not... I guess if it comes down to it i'll just have to submit what I have and hope for the best... (I'm praying to the zGods for an extension to be announced - but as of yet no answer to those prayers... lol. I cud really use one...)

But yea - It been awesome - hopefully I can get what I need done in this last week! It's been a real pleasure participating with you guys in this comp and seeing the progression of so many wonderful models! Best of luck to everyone!!!

Sorry no update here - but hopefully by the end of tonite i'll have some more work to show on the base.

    Bless!

Hey Chindian, I didn't realize you would go to such lengths with the base! Looking fantastic so far.

I really want to see this completed, so here's wishing you the best of luck. Just give it all you can
