    Default Insanely cool arm

Great detail and interpretation of an organic tree arm.

Much thanks to slangford, SolidSnakexxx, threetails, gang, Moni-Poroni, Firerbert, raguyarts, herekitty, Etcher, D Adami, dustbin1_uk and jempix for the props!

DAnconia - Thanks! No, I didn't record it but I can do that on the other hand if you'd like!

Wethand - thanks for the crits! yes, I agree there are certain ones that have a "ribbed" look that I should smooth out so it doesn't like rubber hoses. Good catch.

Captain Sensible - Thanks, those are great ideas. That paint job was just a test so I will definitely do mostly brown on the final. I like the knots and gnarled ideas too!

weirya - Thanks and thanks for the link. What a weird show! I've never seen that before but I could see the similarities in that character. Very cool.

McGilligan - Thanks! yeah, the body was definitely more stocky than the concept and I think he will look even thicker with all the roots and plates on him in the end.

I've made little progress unfortunately. I'm just getting used to polypainting and detailing using custom alphas. I need to stop all that for now and get all my elements in the ztool so I can do my final sculpting. Here's the zspheres for the back roots. I need to make the back plates and some other finger pieces.

I really like this character, and I like how you're developing it, it's a big challenge as sculpting goes but that's what Zbrush does best, isn't it? Top job.

Yea I would be interested in seeing that if you can swing it.
He is looking rooty, I can't wait to see him finished.

Incredible work. I can't believe how cool this guy is looking. Is the topology of the model finished? Just wondering how your able to get it so smooth and detailed. Your Topology must be really good.

    Default Asymmetrical arms done....ugh!

Thanks to abyss103, maxinkuk, Harmonic, FoOD, SolidSnakexxx, jeffmeckley, zeke3d and slickytom for the feedback. Much apreesh!

Harmonic - Man, I started recording and zb started chugging big time. I'll have to do it on one of the root pieces that isn't 3 million polys.

slickytom - Topology is probably going to stay the way it is since I wasn't planning on retopo-ing the whole thing so yeah, I guess it's finished. I just subdivided the crap out of it.

I made a bit of progress on the other hand tonight. I'm procrastinating getting the other pieces in but I will focus on that tomorrow. Just wanted to get that stupid asymmetrical hand done. (that was a really bad idea but it didn't take as long as I thought.)
