Is this happen when you try to launch the program after you have saved your tools? If so you are fine..just contact Pixologic and recover the license..Let me know how it goes.

    hey moni, chill!
ich bin auch ein ziemlicher tollpatsch.
ich habe damals pixologic angerufen und musste 3 tage warten... will dir jetzt aber keine angst machen... sorry ^^

    gespeicherten tools passiert nix.

I get that error all the time. Not sure why it happens, and it always seems to clear up just before I decide to call support, but at least your tools will be safe. If you aren't lucky, you might not be able to continue for a few days though.

where you using a trial copy of zbrush3?
and if it just shut down on you like that then there is no way to recover your tools, you just have to start over with your last save...

Thank you all you for your head ups
    This is kind of funny
I had the same problem last year in october as I got my license immediatly after the trial version...
In that case I understand that Zbrush has to be recovered..
    but now?

    It´s been weekend last time...
    And I got quickly help (Pixolgic...Aurick )

Ok.. I´ll go for a walk with my dogs...
    to slow down my heartbeat
This is really becoming my personal tough callenge ^^...

I hope they get this fixed for you soon couldn't of happened to a nicer person. I know life can throw those curve balls right when you don't need it to happen. I feel your pain . Last year on the scared silly contest my computer went haywire and I lost all info I had on it thank god I had some of it on a external hard drive. You should not lose any of your models that were saved but unfortunately you can't open them till this is resolved. If you haven't alreadymake sure you copy your files to something else, external hard drive, another computer, cd's or something else so that you will never have to worry about them being lost. If you saved them to a file within the zbrush files make sure you move them if you have to redownload zbrush weird things can sometimes happen and may overwrite your files, most do not though, but I wouldn't take that chance. I hope things will go better for you soon. I really think even with this you will be able to finish and on time. Your superhero tells me that you are just as strong willed as she and I think you have great potential in modeling, one day you will see it. Breathe, relax and hang with your dogs everything will be alright.

    I´m back

It´s been something around 00:30 AM (European time) as I hit the pillow...
and I already woke up about 3:00 AM
    I don´t know why..I couldn´t sleep anymore though I´ve been terribly tired
With burning eyes I sat down on my office chair...and...guess what

I got my code.. AND my tools are still saved

    I´m sooo happy
I got quick help as last time. Thanks again!!

(If I´d have to pay for every smiley I use.. I´d be broke now for sure )

And I want to thank all of you again for the kind words
Did I say that I´m really happy ??^^ lol

    SolidSnakexxx
Thank you for your kind compliment and thank you for sharing your Transpose experience with me Yes..I´m sure that´ll help.

    Hamilcar
Thank you for the kind compliment

    Seavannah
Oh thank you so much for the kind words
Well...good idea with the external hard drive... just in case
    But I don´t have some
Thanks again. You´re so sweet (can I say that ^^? or does it sound bizzare )

So...of course Zbrush kept me awake
here´s what I´ve got so far

I started with the... don´t know the name
let´s call it joint between her organical and her mechanical leg...
    that´s just the base...
I´ll add a ball joint later...I think otherwise she wouldn´t be able to walk...

    Ok...here it is...

Nice update Moni-Poroni and glad you are back! As pitchepuck stated..the hand's a bit out of proportion ...a tad too short.. may be because of the view?

    Thank you for your compliment

Dankeschöön..aber ich glaub das ist vielleicht die Perspektive...? wenn nicht dann ist das Problem ja denke ich relativ einfach zu lösen... mask+scale
    ----TRANSLATION ---
Thank you...I think that´s maybe the view...? if not I think this problem can be easily solved by using the mask+scale function

    SolidSnakexxx
    Thank you for your compliment
and regarding the proportions of the hand..

-> here´s another image..maybe you can tell me if it´s ok or not.
I´ve used my hand as reference... ^^ well personal information too..but not that personal like Seavannah´s (lol...this discussion really made me laugh^^)

    Thank you in anticipation.

(But I´m not sure about this view too.. because her hand is curved..
    might be hard to estimate...)
