I love the way you designed her hairstyle. Very dynamic and I think also purposeful as line of action.

Reminds a bit of Botticelli's Birth of Venus (Adobe Illustrator logo).

Looking good. I would just make sure that thr upper lip is sticking out farther than the bottom lip. Something a lot of people miss.

That hair is great!! gives the pose a lot of strenght (even though she hasn't arms yet )

How on earth are you going to do the shockwave violin????

Yes... frozen fingers in mexico, where I live we have a cozy -3° at nights, nothing compared with antartican temperatures, but it's too cold for me

That boot is killer! And i mean that in the best way possible. I think the super-high stilletto is really sexy. Jealous of your hard surface abilities. I love the dynamic hair too; I hope mine ends up working like that.

I agree with the comments about the lips, but it looks like you've got ideas for the makeup that are going to make it look different than the sculpt. I'm interested in seeing how that turns out.

    Good luck!

I know what you mean but while I sculpted it I tought it would look like the hair is blown forward because of the wind.

    -------------------------------

The reason why I´m posting today without a new update: I have a question..
    New problem

I´ve tried to start correcting the lips... but my topology is so bad that my mesh gets ripped apart then.
I´m not able to sculpt in that area.. and I´ve already reached the maximum of polys which my sytem can handle... -about 4.200.000

What I´v tried to do -> edit existing topology...

I found that page with a really good tutorial
    http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index....g#Introduction

I´ve already edited an existing topology in the beginnig of this contest.
but I didn´t know how a good topology should look at that time

    And here´s my problem:
    It doesn´t work now
    The Zsphere doesn´t disapear..
and on the top on the right side it looks like that

    DD-edit topo problem.jpg

    I don´t know what´s the problem..I think I´m making a mistake, or
    maybe this is the reason:
Unfortunately I deleted the lower subdivs of my model last week
and on top of that I overwrote the file.
I think I did..I´ve just recognized it yet
And I can´t do the whole work again.
Total Polys of my actual lowest subdiv lvl (74.480)

    I´m thankful for any advice

Moni, one option to get more resolution would be to chop up your model into different subtools where the costume breaks it naturally, and have the costume elements be subtools that cover the seams. Judging by your concept it looks like you could to this at the breast area or the hips? Just an idea.

    ach du scheiße...äh ich meine...oh ****
first of all you have to reconstruct the lower subdevisions. I told you how to do this...
after that you only have to go to a mid devision of your object. than smooth the mouth area a bit to relax the mesh. and finally reproject higher subdevisions in folder "geometry"
I would try this... good luck

Yes, to get your lower levels use "reconstruct subdiv" that's in the geometry palette. If that doesn't work it means that you have to enable UVs in the texture palette (the one inside the Tool palette).

    Moni

You can reconstruct your lowest level in the geometry pallete just like maxinkuk told ya. I have never seen this before. Can you give a step by step screen shot of what you are doing? Need more info.

Be careful about splitting up your face into subtools. Remember when you divide the seams will move. If you are going to go this route make sure to turn smooth off in the geometry palette.

yeah Max and Pitch are right, reconstruct subdivisions works great, you can slide topology around your mesh too with the nudge tool if you need to tweak your edge flow a little.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE QUICK HELP

Paul...Ok...I´ll give you a step by step screen shot..
    But it´ll take a moment..
You´ve never seen this before? Seems like this weird things only happen to me..

    Reconstruct doesn´t work...
But I´ll make a screen shot too (maybe I´m making mistakes)
