adroit.jr, it seems like you have advanced to the next level already with the new topology.

If I may, I think the topo on the horn area is quite odd. You can see it from the green adaptive skin image. What I normally do when I redo retopology is that I set the max strip length to 4 so that it will always either be a triangle poly of quad. Also I've been trying to avoid tris in ZBrush as when it gets subdivided, it gets some odd poly distribution.

Coming along really well, I would curve his abs a little bit though, right now they look a little bit too straight imo.

For that gun reference, just google "gatling gun"

The dragon with added gun will be a real crazy villain. For the guns you might want to visit these sites that I've been using as reference as well.

Wow, that's some machine gun you have there. Looking real mean..

For the process of combining the subtools this is how I general go about:

    1. Select the first subtool in the subtool palette. Then go to tool > Clone..This would create a temporary model outside of the model you are working on

    2. Then I'd go about cloning all the subtools by selecting the each and click clone. (For the easiest possible way you may want to make your subtool remain at 1 subdivison-no other subdivision levels. to do so you can click in Too>Geometry> Del Higher or Del Lower..so that the current sculpt of the subtool is the only subdivision left)

    3. Now after cloning all the subtools needed. I'd go slect the First subtool I cloned. Then go to Tool>Geometry >Insert Mesh... once click it will prompt you to select tool to join. Remember if you have multiple subdivision level, it will not work (You may remove the subdiv level at this time if you forgot to do so at the cloning stage.)

    4. If teh base model and the model you are about to join have no subdivision level, it should be able to brought in as one.

    5. Keep adding other tools you have cloned until you ahve all subtools combined into one.

    6. After all the addition, I'd reconstruct the subdiv so I can gain back the subdivision modeling adavantage.

    7. Go back to the original model which you ahve all these parts as separate subtools, then delete all the subtools you have already combined (Be sure to save your tool out first). Tehn append the new tool (Which now has all subtools congregated as one)

the other method which is a lot simpler is to use the Plugin Subtool Master/Transpose Master (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=57154). With just one click you can combine all the subtools.
