Action Hero - Wrath
Action Hero - Wrath
by Esequiel Garcia
Wrath is considered as a villain to the people of the great cities, leaders and heroes of man. It is an age in which superheros have become more like celebrities, corrupt or corporate mascots. A time where neglect, abuse and misuse has left the planet approaching completely uninhabitable. The spirit of the earth has sent its last hope by name of a protector named wrath.
Powers: Very little is known about him, but here is what little we do know; He has the strengths of nature and the wild, is formless and can travel through forms but prefers to be anthropomorphic to be better understood by those who is trying to deliver a message to. He has a short temper and has been known to unleash a furry leaving everything destroyed and redeemed by nature in his wake. He shows signs that he can communicate and is quick to adapt and learn, perhaps even one day of giving mercy....perhaps.

The concept sketch is pretty loose and open, I want to show how big of a conceptual tool zbrush can be. Without this program a lot of this would need to be locked in as close to 100% at the concept stage before work could really begin, being that change was not easy to do in most traditional apps.

ok I think my base figure mesh is ready, I will start on it first checking for problems to make sure it will be good to go, then sculpt. will post WIPS as I go.
All quads, made in max.

thanks Jupiter, still waiting to hear back about some stuff to be clarified before I jump in.

It is indeed a massive conceptual tool. I agree. I like the shape of your mesh, I look forward to see what it will become.

i know how u feel,i'm waiting for my scanner, to get a pic up before i can start..soo don't feel bad..

The base mesh you have now is quite good. With the villain this size, I think the final image would be great with him going berserk destroying buildings and stuff...that'd be cool
-
buildings.... your a mind reader are you not solid snake?

The base is looking nice and clean. Keep it up.
-
cool, thanks, be prepared for a nice update!

Your base mesh looks like a good start. I'm looking forward to seeing how you deal with the weight of someone larger.

So far so good, I like the pure animalistic nature of his personality. My nephew wondered about his tail, though. Does it have a purpose, or is it just part of the character (in other words, is it a weapon?)

Started to block in the character with some time I had today, posting up my progress, still I think its pretty loose, working out ideas, needs to be tightened up and corrected, at the the same time trying not to do to much work that will be over ridden after posing. I type in stream of consciousness run on sentences.
thanks Slosh, Gregoconn.
