    Looking very nice Yong
Like Etcher already said, I think that his upperleg (the one that's pointing forward) is looking a bit long...

    Keep it up !

Hi Solid. I know I'm walking on thin ice with these following comments (on a sculpt that I wouldn't be able to make / as a spectator it's so easy to make comments... so : I already apologize).

I'm constantly nagging about this right upper leg being to long. I think it's due to the fact that you don't have enough interlock / overlap between the glutes and the hamstrings. I've attached an image which shows this overlap. In my first sketch I drew the glutes and hamstrings with interlock: this brings the upper and lower leg to about the same size. In the second sketch I first drew the glutes, then drew the hams next to them; doesn't look to wrong, but it does make the upper leg to long in regard to the lower leg. I hope the inserted pic clearifies this as well.

More nagging: be shure to doublecheck the length of the right lower leg, seems a tad shorter than the left lower leg.

    Mantis_Tigh.jpg

And More nagging: the right foot seems a bit shorter and flatter compared to the left (hard to judge from the pics and small turntable)

Can you ever forgive me? The Mantis is really living and getting under my skin... . !

Red face A bit more paint work

    DAnconia:
Thank you for the crit..Have noted it down and will definitely will adjust that.

    Gohanf22:
Thanks, bud. the crit's useful and I'll follow through to get it fixed.

    Drakelot:
Thanks man, Been busy on many things will try to find time to finetune this piece

    Lucky_1:
Thank you, Lucky_1. I see now the area of which being discusses. I'll alter that for certain, thank you

    antisymmetry:

    Thanks mate.

    Etcher:

I like it when someone gives constructive criticism. And yours will definitely make me go over and check my model. So I'd not be angry at all...In fact, I appreciated your kindness in telling me areas to be fixed. Especially with the graphic Thank you so much.

    Daily Update:
Tonight I'll concentrate on the crits posted and go over to fix what need to be done. Last night, however, I did go over and do some more paint work.. Again this will be entire color covering before the detailed high frequency... pass.. Don't you just love Poly Painting?

    Red face Leg proportion adjusted

pitchepuck: Thank you for the reconfirmation on the leg. I thought I did revised already..perhaps I didn't save...Anyhow, it's great to get good crit so I can fix where there's mistake.

    Daily Update:
After Etcher, Gohanf22, Lucky_1, DAnconia, and pitchepuck have given a good critique regarding the leg, I decided to fix overall proportion including the leg itself, the foot that's too small and some minor adjustments. ..Thank you so much for your keen eyes. Now..I'm going back to Poly Painting

Great pose! I especially like the human hand! It reminds me of the way McFarlane use to draw Spiderman's hands, or something by Hogarth maybe. Awesome!

Hi Solidsnakexxx. Beautiful job on the polypaint so far. !

About the legs ( I promise that this is the last time ) I think Gordon-V was referring to this: on the paintover I drew the supposed length of the bones and the pivot points to check if the left and right leg and foot length correspond. I scaled and moved a bit, but you can still see the original placement. If the right foot looks to big, you could leave it at it's present size, but you might wanna' consider scaling the left one down.

Ok, now I will keep quiet and let you continue your wonderful work!

Red face Turn Table with adjusted proportion Version 2

    gordon-v:
Thank you so much. Hope you like the new adjustments.

    Moni-Poroni:

Just being here reading my updated posts, you've already made me feel encouraged to continue the work. Thank you, Moni-Poroni

    leandroloaiza:
I'm glad I listened to to the comments. I'll do another adjustments.. I think I can manage the time to do so now....Thank you for liking the pose

    Crotalis:
Glad you like the hand pose. It was tough sculpting and walking to the restroom to check the hand gesture....I'll need to have a large mirror on my table soon..hehehe

    Etcher:
Hey there...Thank you for your crit...it need not be your last, as it's very valuable and I highly appreciated it. I'll post more on the adjusted proportion. Thank you, man.

    Gohanf22:
hhahaha Gohanf22 thank you for reminding me that...and man I'm happy to know a lot of people are helping me out and pointing out areas that need improvement.

    Daily Update:
Last night, aside from proportion alterations(Which I'll do another pass), I also managed to check the over all color and did a quick turn table. Today's task would be the final proportion adjustment...then the high frequency texturing (With another subdivision added)

    Here's last night attempt:
