The Rock texture is looking really sweet, and the blood splatter is a nice detail . I agree be great if they do some sort of booklet of Heroes and Villains, kind of like those Marvel/DC character encyclopedias of everyones stuff

    monstermaker:
Thank you so much, Master Rick Baker....I will add the heads after the contest for certain The base needs some chopped head. BTW, My boss, Prince Chatri of Thailand (and also our movie director) have said many good things about you and your wonderful talents. You are one of my most respected mentors..I'm so honor to have your presence in my thread.

    Marsyas:
Thank you so much Marsyas...I think I'm gonna go for the transparent wing like the last post

    askutt:
No problem there, mate.. I think this technique is quite useful for transparency objects. And surely it will look supreme in your hero entry!

    Nattawat_OBBI:
Thank you krub. Texturing is a real fun process.

    jp_smith:
Hey there, buddy. Glad you like my update... BTW, your entry's looking so awesome now with the texture and details.....he's one cool hero!

    markrulz:
Thank you for such kind comment, markrulz. I'm so happy I decided to join the contest...not only that I'm able to excel at ZBrush but also able to meet many cool people at once.

    spimmy:
Thanks, man. I'd definitely buy the book if they come up with one..In fact, it can almost be like a tutorial (WIP) book.

    Daily Update:

This is great! I love the pose you've picked (especially from the front). I also like the base. It's very fitting for the character. I tip my hat to your skills sir!

I have to say this is my favorite concept out of all the Hero Challenge contest. I love Mantis Man! Very cool. I love the fact that he is asyemetrical. I love asyemetrical characters.

Love, love, love Mantis man but I will say Preying Mantis used to cool in my book but they are really big punks.

Pretty much any bug can whoop a praying mantis.

Awww talk about an underdog superhero.
The Centipede and Hornet are where it's at!
    Emperor scorpion is okay.
The Rhino Beetle does not do much killing but no one can defeat it. It's too powerful.
Tarantula's just a big weak punk too! Bleh!

Hey you may go through a bug theme story! I'm sure you can do tons of designs based on those creatures.
