This is amazing. Love your character design concept. Keep it up.
CHEERS!
Hey Kraken,
Just watching some of your vids it's great to watch your sculping process. I'm curious, what brush do you use to put the divots between the muscles. I find most of the time when I attempt it they always coming out looking too rounded.
Hey gregoconn,
It's a variation of the slash brush, but with a custom alpha I made of a pinched gradient. It's similar to the attached alpha. If it's too sharp, blur the alpha in the alpha tab.

Ah great. Cheers for the tip. It's been one of the struggles for me. I'm still learning with sculpting in zbrush and am finding this contest a nice learning curve.
Awesome Chris ... good luck
Thanks for sharing your alpha and the technique man, the Vids are phenomenal!![]()
You have one of the best muscle man here..

Thanks all, glad I could help with the alpha. It really comes in handy when you want a crisp line without inflating. I wish I had more of an update, but I didn't have much time last night. Just worked on the chest, hand and neck some more trying to work out the muscles on the neck as well as get some sort of fleshy feeling to them.

looking great, the forms are really popping now, good it coming together.
Very good progress.... keep it up....
you see every time i think about scraping my profile on here i come across a gem like this. modifying the slash brush with that sweet alpha for muscle striations. it might seem like nothing, but its exactly what i needed. thanks Kraken.
I took my lunch break to sketch a base to this guy. I tried to keep it somewhat simple, but aesthetic and in sync with the overall movement of the form. I'll probably have to repose the feet for this base.
