Cool. I love eagles. Nice work.
No one ever expected a pencil to draw for them.

    Cheers Poda and Herman,

The idea is from a WW1 US air force poster. I think I'll have to do some HD sculpting to fix the distorted feathers.
Keeping very busy so I'll be posting more stuff soon !!

    Cheers

    Default Grell's Method

Thanks Wethand and Paintguy !! All the best to you. Fellow toymakers have asked me to share my workflow because I am very fast and my models are very 3D printer friendly. So here it is. . . . Figurine_method.jpg

    Default Digicave 3D scans

    Hi All,

Here is some work I do for Digicave. 3D scanning has come a long way. Instant scan, huge textures, objects from as small as a coin to big as a truck.
I would love to go to a taxadermist and get some animals to scan.
    More soon . . . . Digi_1.jpg Digi_2.jpg

Hi Gary, The models are optimised for the web so 2000 polys or so. The textures are also very large and Atlas mapped for easy editing.

    Check otu website here. . . .
