The idea is from a WW1 US air force poster. I think I'll have to do some HD sculpting to fix the distorted feathers.
Keeping very busy so I'll be posting more stuff soon !!

Hi All,

Here is some work I do for Digicave. 3D scanning has come a long way. Instant scan, huge textures, objects from as small as a coin to big as a truck.
I would love to go to a taxadermist and get some animals to scan.

so cool whats the weight on these i have a scan over ten years old here its just under 300,000 poly. you have a link too your site ?

Hi Gary, The models are optimised for the web so 2000 polys or so. The textures are also very large and Atlas mapped for easy editing.
