might i ask how u cut the subtool edges so cleanly?

I try to use the extract tool to make clothes/armour but i find manipulating it horrible because the edges always become so soft, and dont reflect hard armour or soft cloth, it looks more like my character got hit with a jelly bomb.

I made all the subtools separate. in maya if you use the edge loop tool at the edges, you'll get that clean edge effect and using the move brush in Zbrush to better fit the clothing on the mesh. I looked at the sculpting clothing by richard smith, which really helped.

    Default edges

I made all my subtools separately in maya. I used the edgeloop tool on the edges to keep them sharp and the move brush in zbrush to fit it on the mesh. I watched the creating clothing in zbrush by richard smith, that really helped me.
