Very cool, the renders are great, i love the crispness of it all, as well as the motion it captures. solid work.

Hey akin, congratulations, fantastic work!!! I have a question, how did you make the tuxture patterns on the "legs" of the turtle, are they alphas?, mmmm.. the look so good because each one looks different and it's not a repetitive pattern.

    Good Job!
    Thanks so much!

Wow! Thanks for the fantastic responses and Top Row plug!

@ richithekiller - Yep, they're a great bunch of people, and I couldn't be more happy with the work they produced. I highly encourage everyone to visit their sight and see the rest of their 3D Prints.

@ brettSinclair - Maybe one day I'll take the time to go back and texture him, but for now I'm just focused on being the best modeler I can be.

    @ halox - Cok Tesekkurler!

@ Art-Machine - It was definately a challenge for the printers since the model has some very small parts and lots for tiny detail. Otherwise I think they did a fantastic job.

@ Chris Spade - Stoph knows all about it and has been following my progress closely. He's a great artist and I encourage everyone to look his work up over at ConceptArt.org

@ 3DVortex - The texture for the leg began as one large alpha that I hand-painted in photoshop. After I had the basic lines down I started sculpting the form from there on out in ZBrush.

@ snowkaren - My renders were straight out of ZBrush with a bit of post work in Photoshop for the background.

@ Everyone Else - Thank you all so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it and I'm glad you liked the model!

Here's a little behind-the-scenes picture of the 18" tall 3D print fresh out of the printer at Offload Studios. Again, I cant be more proud of the job they did with this - and I really encourage everyone to check out their website.

I'm working on getting this model up in the Turntable gallery, so check back soon for that.
Once again THANKS for the fantastic comments - It means a lot to me.
