I think it happens because its not easy to find blueprints of weapons with dimensions, and modellers should improvise and rely on photos which of cource affects models in form of errors.Originally Posted by jadedsoul

Thank you guys!
I'm thinking about shifting to more realistic face, here's update. Hope you like it.![]()
nice eyes. realistic enough even without all the texture on the skin.
beautiful work......![]()
I like the update![]()
Fantastic sculpt - not convinced with the update though. The more real skin doesn't to, me, add anything.
Would have to see it with color to know for sure.
I think your previous version was ready for your final touches in paint and posing and whatever else you were going to add - fur etc. I think you might be over-thinking it.
p.s. Also prefer the version with the hair.
good job!
For the character in question, I think the less 'realistic' face suits a bit better, although either one looks terrific.
out of curiosity, what material is that red one you've got on the previous page?
red material looks similar the one from gnomonology matcap collection.
oofnish This is RS_BigRed Matcap and it was made by Ralf Stumpf. You could grab it here - http://edgesize.com/files/materials/
Yep I'm agree that terrific face suit better but I'm also tweaking her body and I guess it will match good enough.
