Thanks for the kind comments! It really helps. I've had trouble in the past finding the patience it takes to work at this detail level as we all have our favorite aspects of modeling and small leather straps have never been mine. I might find what it takes to finish this piece yet!
It's not for a game, it's personal work -- I might turn it into a game asset but I doubt it will find it's way into a commercial product.
For those of you curious about the workflow for this piece I'd be happy to post breakdown images later this week.

Oh... and the base meshes were created in Maya. Overall time split is about 80% Zbrush, 20% Maya.

Hi. Sure. I'll try to get something up on Thursday. For the first time I played with minimizing the number of subtools and working the polygroups and masking as much as possible -- this made a huge difference in workflow. I'll try to break this down with some visuals.
