slocik: I wish I could go much higher, but my rig is three years old by now. I think that I smooth the models too much. It's a bad habit I picked when I was working with the mouse.

    Default Spec Ops

    Hey Lucky! Thanks man.

Here are some shots of the highpoly from a game model I'm working on for.
I'm currently looking for a job and I thought I should add some more works to my portfolio.
The model is made after a great concept art by Nick Smith.

I've used zbrush to lay down a lot of the basic forms, then brought them back to max for retopo. The concept sculpt was started from a basic human model to ensure that everything fitted onto the body.

    Hope it's ok!

fan-freaking-tastic! Love it love it love it. The flappers in the back are so cool.

small crit: It'd be nice if the chest and upper arm pieces were detailed and designed like the lower arm, head, and abs.

    good work!!

    I agree with jesse.
Even if the concept shows them they should also
    have nice sharp creases.
This way they look like little control over subd surfaces
and doesnt compare to the on spot rest of it.

cool looking character. I see that you make your characters' hands a bit small compared to their overall proportion. I see that some of the holes are not smoothing properly ....maybe you didn't put enough geometry in those areas.
