    Default thank you

thank you for your nice quick overview, I really appreciate that.

Yes, it seems to be the SSS+disp is perfect for that, I just can't test it - dont' know what to do, I am linited with Windows Vista 32bit and have only 2GB of RAM, and Vista eats alone 1GB.

I am not capable to use high res meshes for my render tests - mental ray crashes because I have not enough RAM... to sad.....

so, I would love to use the displacment map with 4096x4096 on the low res mesh.... but what ever I do, it doesn't look like the high res, well, not really a bit close....

the weired thing is, I know how to use the displacment map in vray, and my stests worked perfect with vray... but I couldn't find a way doing it using mental ray....

so, how to you assign the displamcent map to the mesh ?
in the material ? as a displacment modiifier ?

I wanted to use the sss+, but for some reason, not enough RAM.

so now I am looking for a soluiton, how I can use the displacment map on my low res mesh with mental, that's my only cahnce...

    any short tut ?
thx a lot for every litte help

    Default scene assembly job

    Hey Punnw!

Scene assembler is basically everything except animation and Fx, that mean you have to be a good 3D generalist, to be able to do modeling, texturing, lighting , post production etc... and have a lot of knowledge in all the 3D process basically

i love this job because you can do all the steps of a picture creation, i just miss the animation (I love animation) and fx, but i do them for myself

Your technical skill is only outmatched by your creativity. I really can't believe how good you are!!!!

This is good. Really good. Man. I am really happy to view your work.

I want 3D sculpts of your stuff!!!!

    Inspirational.

    I'm gonna shut up now.
ITS is a possessive pronoun its color, its shape, its size
IT'S is a contraction of the words IT and IS It's nice = it is nice, It's fun = it is fun

YOUR is a possessive pronoun Your face, your car, your thoughts
YOU'RE is a contraction of the words YOU and ARE you're wrong = you are wrong, you're nice = you are nice

Usually when you type IT'S, you really mean ITS
and when you type YOUR, you really mean YOU'RE.
