And a very good first attempt it is! The planning shows. Only one thing...if it was the "watercolor" effect you were after I would turn down the specularity in the material you used. Overall well done. You are going to really love this program!

As said by my friend Mr.M7. a well done first image. You should try to learn about layers as quickly as possible, it will make a big difference in the overall quality of your future images. Make the QuickLinks one of your best friends, the answers to most of the questions are there. Good luck.

It has a real painterly feel to it, which works so well with the subject matter. Great first attempt, spook. Hope to see more soon

filament took the works outta my mouth...I like the light stroke giving the illusion the effect of being drug across an actual canvas...very nice feel to this....keep up the great work....

    Very nice, Jennifer!
Finding out you were from Australia, and seeing this image, I think you did a wonderful job, because you seem to have depicted a landscape that suggests that country...
    Fine image...

Very nice. It looks like you're doing a great job of getting your mind wrapped around the painting side of the program.

One hint that you'll find helpful -- I notice a lot of vertical lines caused by the edge of the alpha that you were using for some of the work. You can overcome that by setting your Draw:Imbed to .1 -- this removes the square edge from the brush.
