hello everyone. just wanted to show you guys some snippets of some projects im currently working on,
the first is a wip shot of kanedas bike from akira. the bike itself is quite far from being finished but the basic mesh is there. the render was a test to check out some lighting and shader settings. the background is just a generic background for the test. the final render will include kaneda and the bike. Kaneda will be in a fully lit, textured scene. zbrush will of course play a major role in modeling organics and for textureing.
next up, is a hi poly render of a character that will be a in a mod that i am working on. ( the mod is a full conversion of the game CRYSIS) i kept a seperate non posed version of this model that will be used to bake normals on a low rez model. the model was posed in zbrush and i used undoz mudbox shader in the render.
( thanks undoz i find myself using your matcaps frequently. they are very badass)

Great models nerveink!
On the latest study, maybe his lower torso is a bit too large in volume in relation with the pecs, or in the reverse.
Thanks for the matcaps!
i love all the matt caps you've provided use with! Thank you.
I would love to see him decaying sort of zombie-ish. He looks like he's studying himself to see what he's become.
I know whatever you come up with i surely will drool over >_<
have fun!!

looks great man, the muscles are looking really good. comic book style
Props.
Yeah, there are some similarities to NickZ's sculpt, particularly in the face. Did you use Nickz's sculpt as a base model to build from, nerveinks?Originally Posted by Webhead
