    Default Hello from a neub

I am new to these forums and decided it's time to move my learning farther along and get some feedback from some of the really talented people here. There is an amazing amount of really great work here. It is inspiring to see how much Zbrush had liberated the creativity of the artist's here!

So here is some current WIPs of mine. base meshes created in XSI.
Still need to pose and add some character to her. Then on to painting. This model was created for a class with Cesar Decol at CG Society.

A Cheetah for another workshop I am in. Still many tweaks for his pose as well and then painting.

like the pose on the lioness (cat?)

    lol
hair and scales on yer female char are excellent... would love to know how you did them. some of her proportions feel off tho. being that top heavy and with that amount of flesh on her face.. why are her arms and legs so thin. her ear seems a tad low also. but ignore me.. I'm the real newb LOL

Great work pal, lovely models, especially the female figure. I love the texture and feel of the ball as well ...really nice, you can almost feel the weight of it.

    Cool stuff

Thanks for the comments guys. Lol some other people have complained they were too thick! So I guess I will leave them for now. She was proportioned with the armor off so adding the armor made her relatively thicker in the torso. I will have to consider that on my next sculpt.

Her scales were just alphas that were applied in the patern you can see and then recut for definition.
