    Post Been a while

But I have been working on a thing or three..I've been redoing some of my toy models in Carrara, mostly to see if I can improve on them. The first is a grasshopper pulltoy, the texturing was done by pulling the UV Map into ZBrush and painting the wood texture over it. Rendered in Bryce.

This second one is actually part of a related series of models...this is the locomotive for a wooden toy train, 7 cars in all so far. Again textured in ZBrush using the same method as above. This time it is a Carrara Render.

    Comments are appreciated.

Excellent work Tony ! I hope you post some more images of these wooden toys. How many different designs do you presently have ?

Thanks Deevee! 16 so far, at least of the toys. If you count the various pieces of furniture and other props it is around 250. I only have a few that I've remapped with ZBrush though, I just started and it's going to be a long process (even longer since I'm always working on something new).

    These are pretty cute, Tony!
Personally, I'm not nuts about the renderings...I think you could get a better render in ZBrush, but that's very clean modelling!

Very cool work Tony. The textures look great on the models, I can almost smell the wood.
