Smile Little Z-Nemo in Zlumberland - cont. parental advice

actually, its the moment after Z-Nemo has just left Zlumberland text done using EZ’s superneato Fontmaster

thats a tribute to one of my all-time-heroes, Winsor McCay. i will never ever forget that day i saw that complete edition of Little Nemo sunday cartoons in a local bookstores showcase in 1971. there was a big dragon on the cover, carrying a kind of throne in its mouth with Nemo and the princess falling out of it. what a huge, fat, precious looking book of marvels! in fact it was too precious (costed about 2.5 yrs. of my back-then allowances) and italian but i knew i’d had to have it, sooner or later - well, a few years later there was a german edition, some excellent ratings at school, birthday and wattnots and since then it is one of the favorites in my library

Made me laugh. This one's a keeper for sure. Maybe we could start a thread of ZBrush-related cartoons.

Thank you for your link and introduction to McCay, whom I have not heard about. Nemo lives on! and plays "Quake" eh?

    Smile

thank you everybody for your kind comments

dr.jjwow: sounds like a great book, but your description does not make my synapses clic - hopefully another ZB can step in and solve the riddle!

cameyo & hitch: hehehe, i’ve done the most perfect z-projects while dreaming but could not save them

Dave: worked great! thank you for givin it a first try in this thread!

DeeVee: been busy and will be even more busy the upcoming weeks but will try to stay in touch with the fantastico developments here as much as possible

John: i think its me who needs a therapy

    WingedOne: great idea!

Digits: have a look into here (kinda show) for a few samples... last pic in every adventure shows nemo waking up for some (usually unpleasant) reason from his fantastico visits to slumberland. there has been an edition by fantagraphics in the 90s but this seems to be sold out. methinks its a musthave well, a 21st century nemo probably would play quake and occassionally stumble over zbrush, i am sure

    thanks again!

Very nicely done-and VERY clever-I recently picked up a 'history of cartooning 'book --and it's full of Lil' Nemo frames--so surreal--of course that's what dreaming is all about--Thanks Jaundel for this current look at this classic character!

Thanks for taking me back, Hansl...
Did you know he also did 'Gertie The Dinosaur', which is actually one of the first real animated films?
    Excellent stylistic representation, Bud!!!
