jesus those sucker punch statuettes are so, so sexy. The detail and the texture of the clothing just puts them on another level. Your work always blows my freakin mind.

That way I can hide 20 subtools with ONE click on the eye icon for that folder. For instance, the 20 subtools that make up her torso (zippers, strings, belts, buttons, holsters, shoulder straps, etc, etc, etc).

I use 'merge subtools' every single day, many times a day. I am very familiar with merge subtools, this is not at all what I need. Individual subtools gives an artist the control and flexibility to make changes as clients need. Merging subtools takes away control and flexibility. When I initially posted this (Suckerpunch) I've gotten more than a few artists coming to me telling me they also want/need the folders in the subtool list.

    Thank you
...that would be wonderful...need that too ...

    Hi Lawless,

Amazing sculpture that's for sure, can I ask you how do you achieve such crisp edges?

I tried to use the Extract feature without any success, I really love the strip on the but of the Lolipop girl, how do you made these one?
Did you make them in Zbrush or any external software?
Are you using the new matchmaker to make them match the underneath folds?

    Thanks

Take a body, naked. Create retopology for panties. When creating the retopology, give it a thickness. Check the mesh preview (A) to see how thick the panties are. When satisfied, make polymesh3D. Back in the ztool, append the new panties to the subtools list. The panties should have creasing (it is automatically created). But, sometimes the creasing is left out, if so, add creasing (under tools, geometry) to the edges of the panties. Now when you begin to divide the edges will remain sharp and clean.

I hope this helps. Creasing is great in that it doesn't created more geometry like in poly modeling programs (when you add edgeloops to strengthen specific edges).

    And thanks for the comments!

    Default Rocket

Here is another Suckerpunch statue, Rocket.
This is being produced like the other Suckerpunch statues, around 18 inches in height. All of it is done is Zbrush and Modo except for her face, which is a scan.
